EX-WARRIORS MANAGER DRAGGED INTO WITCHCRAFT ROW. . . dispute between his wife and aunt spills into court

THE family of former Warriors manager, Charles “Mafripa” Dzvairo is embroiled in a bitter dispute, amid allegations of witchcraft, which has spilled into court.

Dzvairo, who was Warriors manager during the time of Brazilian coach, Valinhos, is said to be in hospital.

He is at the centre of the dispute.

His wife, Emily, claims Dzvairo’s aunt is the one who bewitched him.

The aunt, Hatifare Munouyi, is levelling the same accusations against Emily.

Emily has since applied for a peace order against Hatifare at the Harare Civil Court.

“She always visits unannounced and takes pictures of my husband which she posts on social media,” said Emily.

“And, she tells people that I am abusing my husband.

“Charles is currently in hospital, and whenever I visit, she harasses me, calling me names.”

Hatifare Munouyi

In response, Hatifare denied the allegations and launched counter accusations against Emily.

She accuses her as the cause of Charles’ mental illness.

“When she got married to my nephew, he was a businessman.

“Emily told everyone that Charles was faking illness to cover up for losing his job.

“She filed for divorce right after Charles’ fell ill, saying he must find a job.

“I have never harassed her.

“It is very pathetic for her to come here and ask for a peace order,” said Hatifare.

The presiding magistrate granted the peace order in Emily’s favour.
