The two-man gang was arrested on Tuesday.
Sean Bwanasi, 21, and Rodrick Chanakira, 25, were arrested in connection with a series of break-ins in Manresa Park.
Some of the items stolen included generators, livestock, batteries, clothes and scores of electronic gadgets.
The suspects allegedly targeted homes and farms and most of the stolen items were sold to flea market vendors in the Kwabhobho area.
One of the notable victims of this crime spree was Mpandare.
“The impact of these thefts extend beyond financial loss, many victims feel a profound sense of violation and insecurity in their homes.
“My son said he wanted to do a poultry project and I assisted him only for us to be robbed in this way,” said Mpandare.
Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, the police spokesperson for Harare police, confirmed the arrests.
“Police arrested two suspects in connection with stock and property theft in Manresa Park.
“The value of the stolen property and livestock is yet to be determined.
“The suspects have been taken to Mabvuku Police Station and authorities are preparing for their upcoming court appearance.
“The investigation is ongoing as police work diligently to address the rising crime rate and restore safety to the community,” said Insp Chakanza.
