EXCEL Elevators has announced an exclusive partnership with Otis Worldwide Corporation that will see the company supplying modernised elevators and escalators to Zimbabwe.
A number of buildings in Harare have non-functional elevators, most of which were manufactured and supplied by Otis, because of breakdowns due to a lack of spare parts.
The partnership will give Zimbabweans access to Otis elevators and escalators renowned for their advanced features that cater for a wide range of applications in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
Confirming the new partnership, ahead of the official launch on July 7, Excel Elevators managing director, Ivan Savala, said the partnership came at the right time.
“The leading global manufacturer in the industry, Otis Worldwide Corporation, is making a remarkable comeback to the market with a big bang and great enthusiasm.
“This new arrangement means that Excel Elevators, riding on the back of Otis, will offer the industry the best elevators and escalators.
“Excel Elevators is excited to introduce this powerful collaboration to the Zimbabwean market and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
“By leveraging the combined expertise of Excel Elevators and Otis, customers can expect unparalleled service, cutting-edge technology, and sustainable solutions that elevate mobility and transform urban landscapes,” said Savala.
He said the partnership assures their clients of quality products with longevity.
“For the existing units, Excel Elevators will offer clients genuine Otis back up spare parts that will aid in extending the life of the equipment.
“Zimbabweans staying in buildings with non-working elevators as a result of unavailability of spare parts will be happy to know that their problem of walking up and down countless flights of stairs will be a thing of the past as we have an abundance of spare parts together with the skills to fix these elevators,” he said.
