RENOWNED life coach and strategist Tafadzwa “Coach Taf” Mukoyi is set to lead the impactful Academic Mastery & Life Skills Workshop this January, titled “Exit Your Excuses.”
This dynamic event, hosted by LifeBlueprints, will take place today (Tuesday, January 6, 2026), from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Archdiocese of Harare Jubilee Centre, targeting enthusiastic learners aged 8 to 19 as they gear up for the upcoming school year.
With a reputation for transforming strategic principles into actionable life tools, Coach Taf is an acclaimed author and motivational speaker. His book, “Exit Your Excuses” , has inspired countless individuals to embrace ownership, discipline, and personal responsibility.
During the workshop, Coach Taf will engage participants in rethinking their perspectives on effort, fear, failure, and discipline.
“Excuses are not signs of weakness — they are habits we learn. When young people learn to take ownership of their effort early in life, they unlock confidence, resilience, and academic success,” emphasises Coach Taf.
The workshop offers a unique opportunity for students to recalibrate their goals and aspirations.
Liz Dziva, a representative from LifeBlueprints, remarked, “This workshop is an opportunity for young people to recalibrate, re-energize, and reignite their purpose for the new school year. By developing a practice to regularly check in with their vision and intentions, they’re much more likely to make them happen.”
Participants will delve into various essential topics, including:
– Building the identity behind academic success
– Turning goals into daily habits
– Managing pressure, stress, and expectations
– Developing moral courage and self-respect
– Learning how to respond to bullying without losing confidence
The event will feature contributions from notable figures such as author Quinton Dongo, Sr. Diana Kanyere from LifeBlueprints Leadership, and moderator Lucia Urayai, ensuring a comprehensive programme that integrates mindset development, values formation, and emotional intelligence.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to view this workshop as a valuable investment in their children’s academic performance and character development. With the new school year approaching, this initiative aims to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive both in and out of the classroom. – Follow on X @MbuleloMpofu
