Sungura outfit Extra Kwazvose says it is working on its second album that features four tracks. Donny Murira, manager for Extra Kwazvose, confirmed the new album, which he said would prove critics wrong. “It’s true we are working on the next album with four songs already in place and we are promising fireworks, far better than ‘Ndizvo Zviripo’. We still want to give enough time for ‘Ndizvo Zviripo’ and see what the reception is like on the market only then we will release the new album,” said Murira.
Those attending their live gigs have had a foretaste of their upcoming song called “Thelma”. The group has also sampled three new dances, namely “Musika Mupoto”, “Coconut Dance” and “Sando Dzenyu”.
With Franco “Slomo” Dhaka doubling as a vocalist and choreographer, Extra Kwazvose is poised to go places.
“All these developments are a result of intensive practice and rehearsals as we are working hard to give our best,” said Murira.
The group has been performing shows every weekend in and out of Harare. This Friday, the group is scheduled to perform at Pamuzinda Highway Xscape.
The gig, organised by Red Rose Entertainment, will give fans another chance to see what the guys have up their sleeves.
