Up and coming musician Ezebhubesi real name Brian Sibanda has come up with his own music sound – a genre he calls Afro Imbube.
Afro Imbube is a fusion of African traditional music elements, instruments and a bit of Imbube.
Ezebhubesi – who also trades as The Lion Pride is described himself as a talented musician and visionary who drew inspiration from his African roots and global musical exposure.
“I was inspired by bringing a new sound in the music industry and to inspire upcoming artistes to keep on introducing new things and new sounds. I also realised that our society has abandoned our culture and way of life. I then decided to bring an initiative of promoting and restoration our African culture and its values through this genre,” said Ezebhubesi.
He said he has received positive responses from the audience as they love his sound.
Ezebhubesi hails from Mbimba village in Bulilima, Matabeleland South.
He started music in 2018 where he recorded and released his first album titled Zangena eZebhubesi.
On his music journey he has collaborated with Candy Ncube ,Donald Donny ,Umfana ka Jobe , poetess Prosperity Melinda as well as Umsamazi just to mention a few.
