Faith that draws favour II

Later in the day another wave came; not loud nor big but subtle but strong in power.
Whatever it found on the edge, it hit hard and went back with it into the waters. Friend, in life there are different kinds of faith which can be likened to the waves of the ocean.

There are people with faith that appears violent and strong but along the way, it falls and crumbles without achieving anything.
However there is another faith, which may appear like the harmless waves, yet it’s loaded with strength and gets what it aims for.
It is this kind of faith that brings favour in one’s life. It has results.

With this kind of faith your life’s circumstances can be turned around.
It can bring beauty for ashes; joy for sorrow, life for death and leave you in awe of the Lord’s goodness!

It is this kind of faith that drew favour to the life of Moses.
Born during a terrible time when Pharaoh was killing all Israel’s male babies, practically Moses would have died.

However, his mother full of faith made a plan to have her child live and not be killed.
The writer of Hebrews tells us, “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the kings commandment”. — Hebrews 11:23.  What happened then?

Moses mother made a basket in which she put the baby and hid it by the river bank.
One day, “ . . . the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river; and when she saw the ark (basket) among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it. And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and behold the baby wept. And she had compassion on him . . . and he became her son.” — Exodus 2:5, 6, 10.

Instead of ordering his immediate death, upon seeing baby Moses a Hebrew, Pharaoh’s daughter was struck by favour!
The faith that draws favour was already working in the life of Moses.

She was given life instead of death; groomed, educated, and raised in Pharaoh’s house the very man that had decreed death of all Hebrew boys — favour; that was favour!
Are you in a tough season and time and wondering how you can make it in life? Disadvantaged? Abused? Hurt? Broken? And probably even suffering rejection?
Beloved your story can be turned around; your story can be rewritten by this faith that draws favour.

A moment of favour with God will transform a whole life-time. What has been seeking your life to destroy it will be the very thing to protect it, when favour steps in.
The very abusive spouse you are living with and making your life miserable, will be the one to love and cherish you all the days of your life; the very business that is sickening you will gladden your soul as it begins to shape up; the haunting situation against you will become the stepping stone to your next level of success and prosperity.

Friend, have faith in God. Like that subtle but powerful wave of the ocean; hit and get what you desire.
God is able, faithful and moved by faith. He cannot ignore faith. It is his language.

Here is another secret in functioning in the faith that draws favour — action.
Many people tend to think and believe that God just moves and does things. No my friend.
The things of God work by faith, for “without faith it is impossible to please Him.” — Hebrews 11:6.

You have to act and do something before the heavens release something for you. Moses mother took a step, made a basket, hid her son until God intervened and caused favour with the daughter of Pharaoh who looked after her welfare.

The four lepers said to themselves if we stay here we will die, let us go to the Syrians camp.
As they acted and went toward the enemy’s camp, God was moved and amplified their simple steps so much such that thousands of enemies took to their heels thinking a great army is coming after them!

Glory to God! God is a good God.
What is it you want for your life, family, workplace or health?
Take a step of faith, the kind of faith that attracts favour.

Moses also when he came of age the Scripture says, “By faith Moses when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.

“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” — Hebrews 11:24-27.
By this faith that draws favour Moses chose to be with the Israelites and was later sent to deliver them from bondage.
Moses with just but a rod; went forth to Pharaoh to declare God’s Word, “Let my people go!”

Friend, you can do the impossible!
With this faith that draws favour, Israel was set free; the Red Sea parted and the enemy destroyed!

Let the faith that draws favour touch your life, children, finances, marriage, plans and all you will set your hand to do in the name of Jesus. I declare and speak this favour upon your life in Jesus name. Amen.
