BULAWAYO model Faizil Terry is optimistic about becoming the next Misters of Zimbabwe champion after making it to the semi-finals.
Misters of Zimbabwe aims to be the country’s top male pageant, searching for gentlemen to represent Zimbabwe on the global platform.
The model, part of the Clout Inc modelling agency said he is optimistic of being the one.
“I know that there’s stiff competition but if I can’t see myself winning, then what’s the point of me being a part of this pageant?” quizzed Terry.
He laid bare how intimidated he felt at the auditions though.
“On the 25th of January, I went to Misters of Zimbabwe auditions and as, always my heart was pounding, I was nervous. This was my moment to cease.
“Now, I’m more motivated to continue with the journey, to see where it will take me, but I’m confident I’m going to bring the title home,” he said.
From modelling for Edgars to modelling for House of Lumiere, Terry feels ready to conquer Zimbabwe.
The finals set for March 15 at Harare Showgrounds in the capital city will crown this year’s winner.
Founded two years ago, the Misters of Zimbabwe also holds contracts with international pageants, including Mr Grand International, Mr Tourism World, and Mr Manhunt.
