MULTI-AWARD-WINNING female house DJ and producer, Zandile “Zandimaz” Mazithulela has joined forces with Vivanté to exclusively launch a beauty range at Bradfield in Bulawayo.

Vivanté, a cosmeceutical range from South Africa has proven to help those with problematic skin types and DJ Zandimaz has been a grateful recipient.

In an interview with Chronicle Showbiz, the South Africa-based “Emathandweni” hit-maker expressed excitement at the prospect of launching her own beauty range.

“I’m super excited about the launch. It’s been something that I’ve been working on. This has literally been like my own baby.

“Owning my own beauty range has been in the pipeline for the longest time and finally, seeing it come into life is so exciting and humbling at the same time,” she said.

To Zandimaz, looking and feeling good is the secret ingredient to success as a musician, making her decision to launch a beauty range all worthwhile.

Besides her owning her own beauty range, the idea emanated from her suffering from eczema. Eczema is a chronic inflammatory skin condition characterised by dry, itchy, and scaly skin, redness and inflammation, and raised bumps.

The wheel-spinner grew up suffering from eczema and after trying different medical options, it did not work till she discovered Vivanté organic products which she said helped her tremendously.

She said her partnership with Vivanté extends beyond her launching a beauty range but rather, she is part-owner of the brand.

In the past, DJ Zandimaz has worked with Nhlanhla Nciza, Oskido, and Zee Nxumalo, as well as Nutty O, and as is her norm, she has kept her cards close to her chest, but hinted at a future collaboration that will wow her fans.

She said she balances her work and other interests through possessing an unmovable passion and determination to succeed in whatever she does.

DJ Zandimaz had some valuable advice for up-and-coming musicians: “Take care of yourself and the body that supports you. To excel in whatever you do, self-love is essential, and you achieve that by prioritising your well-being.”
