A Harare man has been arrested after he defrauded people using popular sangoma, Sekuru Tasvu’s name.
Kudakwase Gamunorwa, 26, was arrested after duping desperate people, who were seeking help from traditional solutions.
He was remanded in custody until September 17.
Allegations are that on September 13, at Kambuzuma Section 2 shops in Harare, Gamunorwa misrepresented to Patrick Masango, 37 (former band member of Kapfupi) that he
was a traditional healer well-known as, Sekuru Tasvu.
It is alleged that he promised he would solve Masango’s problems.
Patrick fell victim to the accused and he lost US$45 before he reported the matter to the police.
