Family appeals for help after fire razes their home to the ground

Danisa Masuku, Online Reporter

A family in North End suburb, Bulawayo, is in dire need of assistance after a devastating fire razed their home to the ground on Monday evening.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown, but the family suspects the devastating fire may have been caused by an electrical spark.

Although the North End Fire Department responded swiftly, the flames had already spread rapidly, engulfing the house and hindering their efforts to contain the fire.

It wasn’t until late in the evening that the firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control, but by then, most of the family’s belongings had been reduced to ashes.

With school-going children who have lost uniforms, books, and more, the family is now in urgent need of any form of support to help them rebuild their lives.
