VP Mujuru said Zimbabweans did not expect the late General to die in that way.
“I do not think that you expected him to go that way. We are now waiting for an explanation on his death,” she said.
“We are just waiting for an explanation so that we can be set free.”
She said she continued to feel humbled by the number of people who are still paying homage to the late General Mujuru.

“I want to thank you Zimbabweans for the support you gave me and the Mujuru family when my husband died and we are even more humbled because more people are still coming to pay homage to my late husband and we take some solace from that,” she said.
Police recently announced that investigations into the fire that led to General Mujuru’s death were complete.
Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri said the issue had been referred to the courts for an inquest.
General Mujuru was burnt to death in August this year when a fire broke out at his Beatrice farmhouse.
