The annual Bulawayo Citywide Family of God ChurchFamily Sunday service will be taking place on 27 November at the ZITF grounds.
The service is a brainchild of Apostle Andrew Wutawunashe who is the founder and overseer of the CityWide Family of God churches. The purpose of the service is to bring families together in an atmosphere of celebration and appreciating the family relations received from God .
Speaking to Sunday life, Pastor Etresh Hove, a representative from the church said anyone who attends the service would benefit greatly from it.
“This service will help all who attend, they will see the value and importance of family in their individual lives, in society and most importantly in God who is the father of all families.
We encourage unity and working together in families to develop ourselves and the societies that we live in to ensure everyone living in a family setup leaves a legacy that will encourage other generations to come,” he said.
He said the service would help in moulding ideal role models who are leaders in Christ and at the same time the service as a seminar for young people.
“It will shape the mind of the young person to realise their purpose and role in the family thereby influencing them to become responsible society and family members. We encourage the young people to come and be a part of this service. Admission is free because we want everyone to access what God has commissioned us to do,” Hove said.
The service will be an opportunity to come together as a people and pray for our nation, its prosperity and general wellbeing.
The key speaker at the service will be Apostle Wutawunashe and special performances by Family Voices, Revival Voices and Family Singer will be showcased as part of the service.
