FAMILY WAR RAGES ON

Paul Pindani in CHINHOYI

THE feud between Chinhoyi University of Technology’s senior lecturer, Professor Patrick Mamimine and his son Anderson, has turned into war, with the two involved in a furious outburst.

Recently, the court issued a protection order against the professor.

In a leaked audio, the two exchanged expletives at their rented house.

The drama starts when Anderson rebukes his father for provoking him against the spirit of the protection order.

“You come and provoke us. I have a peace order against you,” said the son.

The professor is heard busting into fury saying that his son was a thief and that he turned blind because of the crimes he committed.

“You are a criminal, you are blind because of your thieving,” said the professor.

“You are an id***”

This angers Anderson who asks the police to listen to what his father is saying.

“You are the one who made me go and it is high time I put a stop to it,” responded Anderson.

The professor then tells his son that he was not going to stay at the house anymore.

“Zuva hariviri uripano iwe,” he charged.

The professor also accused his other son for siding with Anderson.

“Wayne you are being used by this criminal. You are going to see the consequences of it.”

Anderson reported the matter to the police and it led to the professor being arrested and charged with breaching the protection order.

The matter will go to trial on May 4.
