RAPPER Maskiri Musimbe has blasted those who engage in bestiality and is concerned that the cases of these sickening acts appear to be rising.

The singer is now into Boer goats farming.

The latest batch of Boer goats from Namibia was delivered at the Rainham plot last week.

“I am so disappointed by those people who are sexually abusing animals.

“Imagine, we have imported these Boer goats from as far as Namibia, incurring huge costs and the government is also empowering animal farmers, iwewe wongo bata mhuka iyi.

“Bestiality is inhuman.”

Maskiri is one of the Hip Hop founding fathers in Zimbabwe.

He became popular for his explicit artistry in his rapping, singing, songwriting, and live stage performances from the ‘90s.

However, his Blue Movie album was banned from radio airplay.

Another farmer, Nobukhosi Ndlovu, of the MaNdlovu Goats, said:

“Our aim is to empower women and men with these highbred goats from Namibia.

“Goats do not need much of your time nor a lot to farm them profitably but they just need you to have them and then they just start changing your life instantly.

“In our goat farming workshop, we only had adults, only three women, why?

“I was advised by my mother to do goat farming, from chicken farming, and I now have this infrastructure.”

Another farmer, Tatenda Mashozhera, 37, who is the founder of Mash Goats company, said:

“As a landmark start-up project, three parties – Mash Goats, Bulembe Farm and Mandlovu Goats – are working together to ensure that this project succeeds and there is good education about this among farmers.

“We started with a goat training masterclass, which was headlined by the GOAT of Zimbabwe music – Maskiri.

“Today we have imported these 120 pure breed goats – 87 Boer goats,11 Kalahari Red goats, six Savana breed, six Saanen (milk goats).”
