The service, which operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, uses the airline’s efficient Embraer ERJ aircraft, designed for regional routes.

Fastjet Zimbabwe Chief Commercial Officer, Vivian Ruwuya, said the route had been on the cards for a while.
“Bulawayo and Victoria Falls just got closer. Our flights make it possible for leisure and business travellers to experience both destinations in one trip — from Matobo National Park to the Victoria Falls Rainforest,” she said.

Airports Company of Zimbabwe CEO, Tawanda Gusha, hailed the collaboration between ACZ, Fastjet, the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority and the Bulawayo community.
“This route will contribute immensely to the growth of national tourism,” he said.

Bulawayo industrialist Busisa Moyo said the link would strengthen trade.
“Bulawayo supplies key inputs and commodities that power the Victoria Falls tourism industry — from vegetables and meat to chemicals and foodstuffs. This flight also opens up easier connections to Zambia for exports,” he noted.

The launch marks a major step in strengthening Zimbabwe’s domestic air network, making travel faster, easier and more connected for both tourists and businesses.
