FATAL FEUD: Goat war ends in bloody murder and suicide!

The man died after ingesting poison at his home following a disagreement with his wife

MVUNDURA Village in Muzarabani was rocked by a blood-soaked tragedy after a goat sparked a deadly fight that ended with one man dead and the other hanging from a tree.
According to police, the shocking incident happened on 3 June 2025 when Gamuchirai Mvundura (21) allegedly accused Jestos Tsikire (51) of stealing a goat. Things quickly turned violent.
In a fit of rage, Mvundura reportedly attacked Tsikire and killed him on the spot.
Consumed by guilt or fear of arrest, Mvundura is said to have taken his own life shortly after by hanging himself. The double tragedy has left villagers in shock.

Police have confirmed the incident and urged communities to seek peaceful ways to resolve disputes.
“People should value life and avoid taking the law into their own hands,” said a police spokesperson.
Villagers say the dispute had been simmering for weeks. No one imagined it would end in such a gruesome way.
