Father rapes minor daughters

IT took a community initiative for a man with cruel intentions against his daughters to face the long arm of the law.

The bad father have been forcing his two daughters aged nine and 11 respectively to have sex with him occasionally from January to March this year.

The matter only came to light when the oldest fell pregnant and a police report was filed,A� leading to his arrest.

It is the Statea��s case that the man would call his two daughters to his bedroom hut and force the 11-year-old to caress and lick his organ before taking turns to rape them.

a�?The man would have sex with his older daughter more often because he claimed she was attracted to him. After that he would have sex with the younger one, once a night,a�? the prosecutor Winken Ngozo said.

In a bid to buy their silence he threatened to murder them. As a result of that the nine-year-old refused to open up about the sexual assault to the police.

To get the truth, the police took the pair to Sunrise childrena��s home in Binga where the younger daughter finally disclosed to the counsellors that her father had raped them on several occasions.

Nkayi resident magistrate Stephen NdlovuA� remanded him in custody to 14 June for a routine remand and was advised to apply for a bail at the high court.
