THE FC Platinum leadership have come out in full support of coach Lloyd Mutasa after fans bayed for his blood on Saturday following a disappointing draw at home against Chapungu. Mutasa has seen anger grow among the club’s fans in recent weeks, who feel the team isn’t moving forward. “We are in full support of our coach. Inasmuch as our supporters are entitled to their opinions, we strongly oppose any personal attacks on the coach,” club spokesperson Chido Chizondo said.
“There is room to improve and it’s important for the Platinum family to give us time as it is still work in progress,”
Assistant coach Ralph Kawondera hinted that if Mutasa is fired he will go as well.
Luke Masomere remains eternally linked to a return to Zvishavane to take charge of FC Platinum after his success with Shabanie.
