FC Platinum fans remember the DeMbare Eight

FC Platinum fans on Saturday once again mourned the eight Dynamos fans who lost their lives two weeks ago in a road accident. The fans brought placards to Mandava that had messages in which they consoled the DeMbare family. The miners beat Triangle 2-0. “The FC Platinum family remembered the lives of their fellow supporters during the Triangle game,” club spokesperson Chido Chizondo said.

“Football unifies the entire globe and yesterday that was our way of saying you remain in our prayers during this time of grief.”

The tragedy, which touched the nation, also saw Zvishavane businessman Clever Pote assisting with cash which was donated to the family of Polite Kimberly Nduku who was buried in Shurugwi.

She was among the people who perished in that accident.
