AFTER a long lay-off due to injury, CAPS Utd’s Tafadzwa Rusike finally got some game time in yesterday’s league encounter against Bulawayo City at the National Sports Stadium. The midfielder has been out for about two months and yesterday was thrown into the fray as a second half substitute. “It feels good to be on the field of play after such a long time on the sidelines. I have been on the injury list since the beginning of the season. This is my first game”, said Rusike.
CAPS United won the match 2-1 courtesy of goals from Simba Nhivi and Leonard Tsipa while Innocent Kutsanzira hit one back for the visitors.
“It wasn’t an easy game for us. In the second half, Bulawayo City were coming to us as they wanted a goal. We were under pressure during the second half.
“I am coming back from injury and so far so good. I am feeling better now and hope to improve on my fitness levels”, said Rusike.
