“Lawrence’s (Mhlanga) contract with us expired at the end of last year and he decided not to renew it. As a result, he went to join Manica Diamonds where he was joined by Rainsome Pavari. Panashe (Mutimbanyoka) and Donald Teguru are now with Scottland FC,” said Chizondo.

Despite losing the gifted quartet, FC Platinum have managed to retain the services of their dependable goalkeeper Wallace Magalane, Shepherd Mhlanga, Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya and ex-Highlanders defender Mbongeni “Mbola” Ndlovu, among others.

Former Dynamos and Greenfuel forward Claivert Tshuma, has been spotted training with the platinum miners.
Tshuma was seen participating in gym sessions while wearing the jersey of the Zvishavane based former champions.

This has sparked speculation of Tshuma’s potential move to the Norman Mapeza mentored side. Undoubtedly, Tshuma is seeking to remain in the top flight following Hwange’s relegation this past season.

The skilful forward was in the books of Chipangano who got demoted from the country’s elite football league alongside Arenel Movers, Bulawayo Chiefs and Chegutu Pirates in the past season.
