FCP gets Madhanhanga permanently

FC PLATINUM have agreed a swap deal with Harare City which will see them sign midfielder Farai Madhanhanga on a permanent basis while Ishmael Wadi moves the other way.

Madhanhanga, who has been the best player by far this season at FC Platinum, is on a one-year loan from the Sunshine Boys.

However, the platinum miners have opted to keep the midfielder on a permanent basis after letting striker Wadi go the opposite direction.

The Zvishavane side confirmed the latest developments but said they were yet to finalise personal terms with the player.

The tough utility player joined the champions early this year as a second option after they failed in their quest to prise away Liberty Chakoroma from Ngezi Platinum Stars.

But the hard-working midfielder has turned out to be the ideal person to replace Ajax Cape Town midfield hardman Gerald Takwara who left at the end of last season.

FC Platinum spokesperson, Chido Chizondo, said they have been given the green light by Harare City to negotiate with Madhananga.

“We have reached an agreement with Harare City over Farai. As you know, he is on loan so we want to have him on a permanent basis,” said Chizondo.
