Afro-fusion singer Feli Nandi, fresh from receiving a Mercedes-Benz and cash gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo, has announced dates for her ongoing national tour as momentum builds towards her ambitious A Night with Feli – Fill Up HICC concert.
The show, set for August 14, aims to pack the 4 500-seater Harare International Conference Centre, marking a major milestone in her growing solo career.
As part of the build-up, Feli Nandi will embark on a countrywide tour beginning in Kwekwe on May 9, followed by Chegutu (May 16), Marondera (May 23), Gweru (May 24), Mutare (May 25), Masvingo (May 29), and Kadoma on June 14.

Her tour kicked off last weekend with a vibrant debut performance in Bindura, which drew a massive crowd. The turnout was so overwhelming that traffic congestion forced organisers to fetch the artiste from her vehicle and escort her to the venue on foot. The electrifying reception has been viewed as a strong indicator of her growing popularity and has fuelled optimism around her planned HICC “fill-up” show.
However, the tour announcement has also sparked disappointment among fans in Bulawayo, which is not included in the current schedule.
“No Bulawayo 😞,” wrote one fan, while another asked, “What about Bulawayo?”
Others expressed frustration, with one commenting, “Bulawayo is unpopular for sure, first was Doek and Slay, now Feli Nandi,” referring to previous postponed events in the city. Doek and Slay, a popular women’s lifestyle event, recently postponed its Bulawayo edition, citing the unavailability of the intended performing artiste, further fuelling local disappointment.
Bulawayo-based musician Thandy Dhlana also weighed in, posting: “Come to Bulawayo.”
Despite the omission, fans in the city may still have reason for optimism, as the artiste has confirmed that plans to perform in Bulawayo are underway.
“Working on it (coming to Bulawayo). Still finalising with the venue,” Feli Nandi responded to one of the posts.
Feli Nandi, a celebrated singer, songwriter, and fashion designer, is known for her soulful Afro-fusion sound. Rising from a backing vocalist to a multi-award-winning solo artiste, she has cemented her place as one of Zimbabwe’s leading contemporary musicians. Her popular songs include Mubayei, Mufudzi Wemombe, Munhu Wangu, and Unotyei.
