SONGBIRD Feli Nandi and rising jazz crooner, Sarungano, have formed an alliance.
Under their musical pact, the two camps will hold a series of shows countrywide.
They will launch their roadshows with a double at Ruwa’s Leisure Centre in Ruwa tomorrow. They have also lined-up a series of shows in other towns like Bindura, Marondera, Kadoma, Beitbridge, Gweru and Masvingo, with the majority of gigs already confirmed.
The duo is also going to hold an Afro Fusion Night slot, in the capital, as part of their audience-building exercise.
In an interview with H-Metro, Sarungano’s manager, Eugine Museredza, said everything was on course.
“We have decided to combine forces with Feli Nandi for a number of shows and we want to see how it will go.
“We have confidence in ourselves because we can deliver to the masses.
“Sarungano, who passed through Pakare Paye, has matured while Feli Nandi needs no introduction.”
Added Museredza: “Of course, Feli Nandi passed through the Mhodzi Tribe but she is now her own lady.
“We can’t wait for this tour.
“Partners and sponsors, who want to be part of these roadshows, are welcome.”
Similar sentiments were echoed by Feli Nandi. “We are more than ready and I am happy to be working with Sarungano,” she said.
