AS the year goes on, Feli Nandi is getting the recognition she deserves and she will be headlining the prestigious Moto Moto Festival at Odonien in Köln, Germany, on July 20.
It appears Feli Nandi will be providing the closing soundtrack to the Euro football championships, which are being held in Germany.
Tens of thousands of football fans, from across Europe, have descended on Germany for Euro 2024.
Euro 2024 ends on July 14, six days before Feli Nandi’s show.
Still basking in the glory of a fine display with a 19 piece-all-male band at the Redefined Concert at Harare International Conference Centre, the music gods have smiled on Feli Nandi once again and provided her with another opportunity to sing before an international audience.
The Moto Moto Festival is a collaborative effort between local musical guru, Plot Mhako, and Germany promoter Victor Schach.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting the rising Afro-fusion sensation Feli Nandi at the Moto Moto festival in Köln, Germany, this summer.
“She brings a uniquely Zimbabwean vibe.” said Schach, the festival curator
Moto-Moto Festival targets the European market with the goal of pushing African music to the global space.
The focus is on getting an internationally diverse audience to come and enjoy what Zimbabwe has to offer in terms of music and artistry.
Locally, Feli has been touring with the Doek and Slay team, which has significantly expanded her fan base.
She has delivered vibrant performances in Harare, Bulawayo, Masvingo and Mutare, wearing unique outfits, which has captivated music fans.
