Fiji eliminate Blitzbokke

MOSCOW – The Springbok Sevens team have been knocked out of the IRB Sevens World Cup in Russia after suffering a 12-10 defeat to Fiji.
Rayno Benjamin scored the opening try before Fiji hit back with scores from Metuisela Talebula and Samisoni Viriviri to lead 12-5 at the break.
Sibusiso Sithole scored the only points of the second half as he dived over during the closing stages, but it wasn’t enough as the Pacific Islanders held on to advance to the semi-finals.—Sport24.
