ORGANISERS of Killer T’s “Back To Roots” concert set for the Mbare Netball Complex tomorrow are optimistic history will be made.

Show coordinator, Jack Radics, revealed that early bird tickets to the show have been sold out.

Killer will be performing most of his songs off his latest album Tiri Vemuma Streets.

Some of the supporting acts billed to perform at the event include Hwindi President, Silent Killer, Dadza D, Blot and Kinnah.

Top emcees like Godfather Templeman, Etherton Beenie, Merciless Zimbabwe, Abisha Palmer, DJ Cables and Cymplex are set to grace the main stage.

Radics told H-Metro that it was all systems go.

“We have done most of the ground work and expect a full house at this particular event.

“It’s encouraging to note that Killer T has decided to remember his roots and celebrate with his peers.

“This is what we have been longing for among artists and it is our hope that other successful artists will take a leaf from Killer T.

“A number of artists tend to forget their roots once they make it to the top, which is quite unfortunate.

“Prior to the show, Killer T will also do his charity work under his foundation,” he said.
