However, it appears that organisers might be forced to either reschedule or shift the venue owing to the closure of the popular joint.
“The Book Café has been closed and we are waiting for them to reopen because we were supposed to hold the event at that venue.

Now in its third edition, the Zimbabwe Festival of African Inspired Animations showcases Zimbabwean and African-inspired animation films by filmmakers, directors and producers.
The main festival is held in December from the 7th to the 9th while quarterly editions are held in March, June and September to review the progress made by the filmmakers.
“This month we will be reviewing progress made in the five animation films that different producers from around the country are working on.
“We are also planning to do a group film and we are encouraging people to bring their film ideas and it is from these ideas that we will decide on which one to work on,” Maramba said.
Maramba himself a prolific actor and film director, is also chairman of the Joint African Animation Group.
