As preparations of the 21st February movement gathers momentum a musical group Final Warning has released a video for President Robert Mugabe.
Titled “President at 91” the song encourages the nation to thank God for granting President Mugabe more years to defend the sovereignty of Africans.
Prosper Dembedza of Final Warning said Zimbabweans are privileged to have a leader like President Mugabe and the nation should thank God.
“It was not by mistake but it was because just like the biblical Israel, Zimbabwe is a chosen nation, God gave us a president who has the nation at heart, who fights to make sure every Zimbabwean safeguards their inheritance.
“Some countries envy us because of our God-given President. As youths we are grateful to have him and we continue to say long live Gushungo,” he said. On the song, “Final Warning” we sing: “VaMugabe makore kuwanda kudai vari kuchengetwa naMwari . . . Mudhara Bhobho hutano kuwedzerwa kudai vari kuchengetwa naMwari . . . wanzai nyasha kuna VaMugabe . . . Mwari baba tinotenda makatipa chipo VaMugabe.”
Dembedza is currently riding high with his songs “Tokudai Amai Mugabe”, a single which congratulates the First Lady for being appointed Zanu-PF Secretary for Women’s Affairs and has been given fair airplay on ZTV and “Congratulations VaMnangagwa”, a song that congratulates Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa for being elevated to the Vice Presidency.
