Fireworks are expected when top Zimbabwean entertainers unite for the Sam Dondo gig that will be held this Friday at Alex Sports Club. The gig has the top Zimbabwean entertainers Oliver Mtukudzi, Alick Macheso, Suluman Chimbetu, Jah Prayzah and Winky D lined up. All the artistes have promised to give their best during the album launch. To add on the list the organisers have engaged Lady Storm and Peter Moyo for the gig.Mtukudzi is one of the top musicians who have for several years thrilled music lovers.
Macheso is undisputed man of the moment with his album “Tsoka Dzerwendo” making waves in Zimbabwe and beyond borders.
Macheso recently launched his long awaited album and his video clips on the event have gone viral on several social media platforms.
His publicist, Tich Makahamamdze, said on the day the musician would unveil new dances that are likely to thrill fans.
“Friday will be another day for us as we unveil new dances. We have not been resting since the release of our new album because we want to give fans the best,” he said.
Jah Prayzah’s manager Keen Mushapaidze said they will be sampling new songs from his coming album.
“That is a show one should not miss as we will be sampling songs from our coming album to be released in August,” he said.
Winky D has been on top of his game for some time now and he has managed to thrill his fans at live shows.
He has songs that appeal to all ages, making him an interesting performer on the night.
Organisers of the gig said they were happy to be hosting the big five in the country as they endorse the upcoming musician, Sam Dondo.
