Firm Faith’s album launch at 7 Arts Theatre dazzles fans

Gospel outfit, Firm Faith launched its ninth album, “Munesimba”, at the 7 Arts Theatre in Harare last week.
The launch was characterised by high-energy performances that captivated the audience throughout the night.

Those who attended were impressed by the excellent sound quality, which enhanced the overall experience.

South African groups Reality 7 and No Limits also delivered engaging sets, blending their classic and contemporary tracks seamlessly.

Reality 7 performed their signature song, “Ngeke S’guqe”.

Mashal Matsilele, the music director of Firm Faith said the event was their best album launch in over 20 years.

“Munesimba” features songs that connect with a diverse audience, not just the Adventist community, and the turnout included fans from as far as Zambia, Lesotho, and Namibia.

The highlight of the night was Firm Faith’s performance of “I’m Going There,” which had the crowd singing along enthusiastically.

Matsilele thanked fellow musicians, fans, and stakeholders for their support, highlighting the collaborative spirit that contributed to the success of the launch.

Guest of honor Justin Gumbochuma praised the group for their role as ambassadors of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, noting the event’s professionalism and the broad appreciation of their music across different backgrounds.

Bwalya Chilufya-Musonda from Zambia thanked the artists, while Penial Tambama delivered a polished performance of the title track “Munesimba”.

Josh Maponga and Tinotenda Dzimiri, who were part of the audience, said they enjoyed the evening.

Nikky from Star FM expertly hosted the event.
