share information and challenges with the Zimbabwean medical practitioners on the current methods of handling cardiac conditions, investigations, their management and treatment. The workshop will cover the entire spectrum of heart conditions.
Health and Child Welfare Minister Dr Henry Madzorere is expected to officially open the conference.
First Mutual Medical Savings Fund executive Mr Stanford Sisya said: “We are expecting participation from approximately 150 Zimbabweans drawn from all over the country, with a few specialists from Zimbabwe and India as the speakers.”
Zimbabwe is expected to benefit from the Indian perspective and also from the vast experience and knowledge of the Indian specialists.
In an effort to widen the provider network for First Mutual Medical Savings Fund, the company recently introduced the foreign treatment facility with Indian medical service providers through Medi-Clinic as an additional alternative to the already existing facilities which include partnerships with Netcare, a South African company which owns the largest network of state-of-the-art hospitals in South Africa and Namibia.
