Five arrested for stealing Presidential Inputs Fertiliser

FIVE men have been arrested for allegedly stealing 23 bags of fertiliser during the distribution of the Presidential inputs in Zowa, Zvimba in Mashonaland West Province.

The Police confirmed the arrest of Tatenda Monomer (26), Cleopas Muntanga (24), Tanatswa Koroka(25), Gilbert Gutuza (40) and Conrad Befura (40) in connection with a theft case that occurred on 1  November 2024.

“Following the suspects’ arrest, the police recovered four bags of Compound D fertilizer and four bags of Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer,” said the police in an official statement on X.
