Five robbers arrested during a shootout

John Dzingai Manomano, Sign Siayowa, Charity Kowo, Panashe Graham Sithole and Tanaka Mutopo appeared before Harare magistrate Lisa Mutendereki.

FIVE robbers who were targeting families and business premises in and around Bulawayo have been arrested.

The five are Nkosiyazi Nyathi (20), Vusumuzi Ncube (22), Mgcini Sibanda (24), Mlungisi Ndlovu (41) and Nkosiyazi Moyo (27).

Police have since launched a manhunt for Alex Nyathi alias Samduduzi who is the sixth suspect and is still at large.

One pistol has been recovered from the suspects who were mostly committing armed robbery cases in and around Cowdray Park while armed with two pistols.
