Follet-Smith wins Rowland Park Open

UNITED STATES-based Benjamin Follet-Smith returned home and claimed the Rowland Park Open at the weekend. The tournament attracted most of top amateurs as it carries the points for the World Amateur Golf Championships, the Eisenhower Trophy, whose race for points begun in Zvishavane.

Playing off zero handicap, the Mississippi State University student had rounds of 68, 69 and 74 for a total 211 five-under overall.

Follet-Smith left the country as winner of the 2012 All-Africa Junior Championship and represented the country at the All-Africa Team Championships.
