FORGOTTEN COACH JONGWE PRODUCING A MIRACLE AT YADAH

MAXWELL Takaendesa Jongwe is proving to be a saviour for the Miracle Boys.

The former CAPS United coach seems to have found the Midas Touch to help Yadah to survive relegation.

He guided the Miracle Boys to a second straight win, in a crucial period in the battle against relegation, after an impressive 3-1 win over Triangle at Baobab on Sunday.

Four days earlier, Yadah had posted probably their best result of the season with a 2-1 win over CAPS United in Gweru.

Yadah midfielder Prosper Kafilapanjela says they have already shifted focus to their next Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter against Herentals.

The Miracle Boys, who have already survived four seasons in the domestic Premiership, are currently with 30 points and in position 14th on the table.

Kafilapanjela, who has been captaining the Miracle Boys in the last two games, said the win against Triangle was special for them in many ways.

“To be frank, words cannot really express how I am feeling, it was not only a win (against Triangle) but statistically this was our biggest winning margin so far.

“So, I am so excited about that.

“For the team, it’s something very positive, it boosts morale and it brings so much hope in the quest for survival.

“We scored three goals and collected three points and it’s something that deserves a round of applause.”

Kafilapanjela said focus was now on their next match against the Students.

“Our next fixture is a derby and you know what it means for us players. These are games we would like to always win.

“Herentals will give us a tough match but we are also ready to bring our best game and fight.

“It’s not going to be easy but I am positive we will win.

“As a team, we are expecting a win as we need all points available,” he said.
