Franklin leaves Harare gospel lovers asking for more

Tuesday night.
With the cheapest ticket going for US$20 gospel music lovers surely got their money’s worth as the show lived up to its billing.
Franklin put up a splendid act before a capacity crowd at the Harare International Conference Centre.
The job was made easy for him as the crowd was already in groove mood after lively performances from Sebastin Magacha, ZimPraise, Priestly, iLL Ceey, ZINA and Pastor G.
Franklin simply took the show a gear up with his spiritually uplifting tunes and exuded energy spontaneously connecting with the crowd.
The 41-year-old mesmerised the crowd with his nifty dances.
The crowd went into delirium when he performed “Imagine me” and “Now behold the lamb”.
Elegantly dressed for the occasion the colourful crowd was equally upbeat constantly rising to their feet in elation as they sang along.
On Wednesday Franklin visited St Joseph’s Hostel for Boys in Belvedere where Unilever donated goods to the orphanage.
Franklin gave the boys words of encouragement as he also grew up in an orphanage.
