Other posts that were contested for were the first vice-president (competitions) and Chris Chivhinge got eight votes to defeat his opponent Tawanda Sithole who managed six votes.
Enias Kondo was elected the second vice-president (technical) while Mxolisi Ndlovu and Ringisai Mapondera were unopposed and retained their posts of treasurer and secretary-general respectively. Sithabisiwe Khumalo, Maxwell Rundu and Juliet Kaseke are the committee members.
Ndlovu said they are hoping to take the sport to another level and noted that having come second for the Sport Development award at the Annual National Sports Awards function last week shows they have been doing something for the sport.
