IT seems dancehall chanter Freeman has earned himself a victory lap for his latest album Trophy.
The past two weekends have seen the multiple Nama award-winner pulling huge crowds both on home and on foreign soil.
He is even gearing up for a date with his Cape Town and Johannesburg-based fans on December 15 and 17.
Recently, he had a good show in Mozambique where more than 10 000 people watched him perform.
On December 8, the musician recorded a similar crowd in Masvingo at the Caravan Park.
He was supported by Voltz JT and DJ Merciless at the event.
With 13 albums under his belt, Freeman has making fine progress in his career.
“Thank you to all the Gallis who are supporting me,” he said.
“The album tour has been amazing.
“Let’s continue with the trend in Cape Town and Johannesburg on 15 and 17 December, kana wanga wakuda kuuya kumba chimboti mirei ozouya timborova mangoma,” said Freeman, in a promotional video.
He is billed to perform at the Zimbabwe Mzkfest, along with an array of artists.
Freeman said the Trophy album reflects the quality of music he is now producing and hopes to add more good music as he matures in the game.
However, the musician remains humble despite his growing fan base.
