ALICK Macheso’s daughter, Stacy, will today drop a single off her new album due for the release at the end of this month.

Titled Ndakusuwa, the Afro-pop musician said the single is a love song off her seven-track album titled Ndine Zvekutaura.

“It’s a depiction of the experiences that lovers face, especially when they are apart.

“With the widespread travel and relocations, lovers are often apart for a long period and Ndakusuwa is a celebration of love and the passion that exists even when you are apart,” she said.

The songbird said she likes to sing about real life experiences, which capture what people face, in their real lives.

Stacy said Ndakusuwa demonstrates the beauty of genuine love and affection.

“Even those who are in close proximity or living in the same city can still miss each other after a day away from each other because of work or other commitments,” said Stacy.

The single comes after two other singles, Ingozi and Amai, which were well received by the music industry.

Stacy is happy with the support from her fans.

Apart from composing and singing, the songstress is also a brand influencer.

“Local corporations are engaging me for their campaigns and this year I signed my first major endorsement deal with a hardware company.

“More are in the pipeline as we speak,” she said.

Stacy said her superstar father remains her inspiration and idol.
