FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE

MANCHESTER. — R&B star Chris Brown is looking forward to launching his world tour after being released on bail following his arrest in London last week.

The American Grammy-winning singer was charged with assault in connection with a 2023 incident that allegedly took place at a venue in Hanover Square, London.

Brown, who was initially due to remain in custody until 13 June, was granted £5 million bail by a Manchester court on Wednesday.

The judge ordered Brown to pay the amount as a security fee — a financial guarantee to ensure he returns to court.

According to Sky News, his bail conditions permit him to continue travelling for his tour, which includes dates in the UK throughout June and July.

However, he is prohibited from using his passport for any other purposes.

His next court appearance in Manchester is scheduled for 20 June.

Following his release, the Under the Influence hitmaker took to Instagram to remind fans about his highly anticipated tour.

“From the cage to the stage! Breezy Bowl,” he wrote.

Chris Brown will kick off the Breezy Bowl XX stadium world tour next month.

The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of his self-titled debut album and will feature Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller as special guests.

Breezy Bowl will premiere in Amsterdam on 8 June. — Agencies.
