A survey by CAJ News established that only stations run by the national authority were selling fuel in Abuja in isolated refuelling stations. Major fuel stations across the capital Abuja were shut down after receiving directive from Nupeng.
A petrol attendant, Amaka Uche, in one of the stations said other fuel stations were not selling due to Nupeng directive. Residents in the capital city were concerned that the situation might get worse in the next few days. They appealed to authorities to settle their differences with Nupeng to resolve the indefinite strike.
