Young people below the age of 16 are invited to take part in the first ever Mascot Design Competition that will see them winning fantastic prizes. Teens are expected to design a mascot and it should be original and hand drawn reflecting some aspects of technology with a name.
Speaking to Cool Lifestyle, sales and marketing assistant at the mobile company Pfumisai Ratsauka expressed excitement over the development stressing that it was a learning curve for kids as well.
“All children from Zimbabwe are free to express their creativity only this time around, they will get rewarded for it,” she said.
Ms Ratsauka reiterated that he wanted the kids to be affluent in ICT skills through participation in the competition.
Just like any other competition, there are rules slated for this competition and all participants should abide by them, otherwise they risk being disqualified.
Those interested should visit Herald House from Monday to Friday after 2pm to collect the entry forms or visit facebook.com/gtelscoms.
According to the organisers, the top three mascot designs will be showcased on the Facebook page for public voting. The deadline for the competition is Friday, April 5, 2013.
