economies alone to solve the problem. “In a moment of crisis, it is essential to press for a collaborative effort by all the large players of the world economy, especially co-ordinated and joint action among the countries of Europe,” said Rousseff during the event held in Brasilia, the national capital.
Rousseff said the call for co-ordinated action would be the message that Brazil wants to convey at the upcoming Group of Twenty (G20) summit of leaders from the world’s developed nations and leading emerging economies, which will be hosted by Mexico late this month. Brazil has been striving to stave off any major negative effects of the European crisis.

“We have immense opportunities in the areas of infrastructure, transportation, energy and telecommunications, as well as the partnership between Brazil and Spain, to promote cooperation, innovation and research,” she said.
The G20 Leaders’ Summit will be held in the Mexican resort of Los Cabos from June 18-19. It is expected the meeting’s agenda will be dominated by Europe’s debt crisis and its impact on the world economy. — Xinhua.
