Gamecocks get new kit manager

FORMER Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Chicken Inn have continued with their massive technical recruitment drive amid revelations that they have hired Lameck Makuvatsine as their new kit manager.

Makuvatsine replaces Guidde Goddard, who was also doubling up as the club’s second assistant coach in the past season.

Goddard is now the head coach of the club’s developmental side, head coach and his assisted by his ex-teammates Ben Nyaunzvi and Danny “Deco” Phiri.

Two-time championship-winning coach Tonderai Ndiraya is now in charge at Gamecocks first team

He replaced veteran gaffer Joey Antipas, who had been with the former league champions for several years, winning the league championship in 2015.

In their technical department, the Simbisa Brands-sponsored outfit has also hired Naison Muchekela and Fortune “Fokoza” Ncube as first and second assistant coaches, respectively.

The club also brought in their ex holding midfilder Tafadzwa Ralphael Kutinyu as Performance Analyst.

Zwanayi Kawadza is now the team’s goalkeepers coach.

He replaced Energy Murambadoro, who is now in the books of Simba Bhora, together with Mabhena.-@FungaiMuderere
