AFTER the 2-1 defeat to MWOS, Chicken Inn winger Killian Vuwa has declared his team’s readiness to bounce back ahead of their next challenge against Kwekwe United.

Vuwa believes that every point is now critical in their bid to avoid relegation.

The Gamecocks, in 12th place with 30 points, are using the current international break to reset.

With league action paused, the squad is focused on regrouping for a vital push when action returns.

“We are in a precarious position where we can’t afford to drop points. We have told ourselves not to give up and to continue fighting. We aim to win all our games, but sometimes it doesn’t go our way,” he said.

After that defeat, the team will need to be sharp when they face Kwekwe United.

The bottom-placed side are struggling and have amassed just ten points in 27 outings. However, they collected a point against Manica Diamonds.

“It gives us a split moment to recharge and work again so we can unleash the best of ourselves,” Vuwa said.

The speedy winger is hitting his stride at a pivotal time for the club.  “Of late, I have been enjoying my game and gained my full fitness,” he said. “I am grateful to the coaches who have made it possible. I just want to keep on this same trajectory.”
