Ghetto life inspires rapper

POPULAR Zim Hip-Hop artist, Tadiwanashe ‘Tadlion’ Mtoti, says he draws inspiration from ghetto life.

Today, the rapper will release a single titled Tsuro Magen’a featuring BG Star.

The song was produced, mixed and mastered by Trinnie Beatx.

It expresses the feelings of most youths in the ghetto and the hardships they face to be successful.

Tadlion hopes to uplift upcoming artists and tour the world, learning different cultures and styles as a way of uplifting the music industry and raising the Zimbabwean flag high.

Lack of capital and electricity for studio work delayed the production and release of Tsuro Magen’a.

“This track will definitely be an anthem; it expresses the feelings of most of the youths in the ghetto and hardships they face to be successful.

“Some of the key words in the song are mostly the street lingo.

“Recording and trying to release the song itself was a struggle, but my hope is that one day I will be able to uplift upcoming artists,” he said.
