A Harare family is looking for its 16-year-old daughter who went missing last Thursday

Mollen Madzividza of Greendale, Harare, was last seen around 1pm on the day wearing a black jacket, blue top, a floral skirt and bare footed.

According to her mother, the girl fled from home in fear of being beaten.

“l found the messages of her boyfriend in her cellphone, when l tried to ask her, she then ran away, she left with nothing no money and not even her cellphone,” said Mrs Madzividza.

The mother said her daughter stayed in Seke, Chitungwiza attending school.

“She stayed in Seke, that is where she attended school and when she visited me that is when l saw the messages. We have reported the matter to the police, but there is no clue on her whereabouts yet.”
