concentration as their forwards were not playing well.
“We lost concentration, our forwards were playing well, our performance was not like the way it was in our other two matches. We started well but lost it now we just have to continue training and am confident that will are going to beat Vainona in the League. Besides, losing one match out of three is not bad and we were happy to play at COTTCO. Last year I was here and it was also good, we did well in our matches,” said Dingani.
In another girls’ match Roosevelt celebrated their first win when they thrashed Eaglesvale 32-0.
Meanwhile, one of the coaches Lilian Mapiya, said she was happy with the level of the girls’ participation this year. “ I was very happy and impressed by most girls’ teams, they are now more girls teams which shows that there is a lot of development in girls’ rugby. And the other good thing that I liked was that the were more that 40 girls who attended the coaching clinic.
“We had a lot of girls yesterday and they were happy that I was able to shed more light on the new rugby rules, most of them now understand how to catch and pass the ball,” said Mapiya.
